On Beginnings and Endings Workshop

with Jennifer Lang

Sunday, May 3 from 10:00 – 13:00

“Endings are elusive, middles are nowhere to be found, but worst of all is to begin, to begin, to begin!” —Donald Barthelme

What’s more difficult: starting a new story or ending it?

In this one-time workshop, we’ll explore different strategies for both to see where they lead us. We’ll be serious. We’ll be playful. We’ll dare. We’ll be conservative. We’ll practice over and over until we find what works.

Open to all levels and all genres, this workshop will take place at Israel Writers Studio in TLV in person or on zoom for anyone who is unable to get to the table.

Details: 420nis if paid before April 15 and 480nis subsequently; non-refundable if you cancel within one week of the workshop and your place cannot be filled; includes light snacks and refreshments.
