Picture Your Picture Book

Have you always dreamed of writing a picture book? You have the idea, maybe even the audience that’s ready to read it, but where do you start? This workshop will cover books for the 3-8 year old readership beginning with concept books for the very young, to non-fiction picture books for the 8-10 readers.
Details: 420nis before May 1, 480nis subsequently and includes light snacks and refreshments. Non-refundable if you cancel within one week of the workshop and your place cannot be filled.

Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, raised in Montreal, Quebec, Anna Levine is an award-winning children’s book author. Her YA novel, Running on Eggs, was on the NY Public Library’s list of best books for the teen age in 2000. She has published picture books, middle grade novels, and young adult fiction. Levine has also published short stories, poetry, and non-fiction articles. Her upcoming picture book TAILGATE SEDER will be out with Apples and Honey Press in 2025. When she isn’t writing or teaching Junior High, she can be found working on archaeological digs throughout Israel. www.annalevine.org
