Writers in Wonderland: Inspiration from the World of Children’s Literature
with Eva Weiss
Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 10:00 – 13:00
This workshop explores the ways in which children’s books ignite our imagination and summon our earliest memories. We will read compelling stories from varied eras and sensibilities, in genres written for young readers ages 5-16. Picture books, middle-grade books, and young adult novels will be the springboard for our own writing. In the words of Goethe: “Good children’s literature speaks not only to the child in the adult, but to the adult in the child.” Open to all writers, all genres, all levels.
Details: 420nis before January 5, 480nis subsequently and includes light snacks and refreshments. Non-refundable if you cancel within one week of the workshop and your place cannot be filled.
